We are about to release Lucene.NET 4.8, and it's time to show what it can do, and how it can be done. During the MVP Summit I recorded a hands-on introduction video, and it's now live here.

nuget packages can be downloaded from out myget feed: https://myget.org/gallery/lucene-net. Lucene.NET sources are available on github: https://github.com/apache/lucenenet.

    It seems like it would be worth updating the lucene net news page with an update on this progress. The last update is a link to the 3.0.3 release in 2012, which makes it look like a dead project.
